Divetales is an interactive digital dive log platform built for recreational scuba divers. It bridges the gap between clinical dive data and the actual memories of the trip.
Currently, divers face two major problems: dive computer apps export boring spreadsheets of time and depth, while underwater cameras generate hundreds of disorganized, hard-to-filter photos. Divetales solves this by allowing users to import raw .fit files (like those from Garmin) to automatically generate comprehensive Trip Summaries, geographical Memory Maps, and interactive Dive Profiles. As users hover over their depth chart, the app syncs uploaded photos to the exact time and depth they were taken. Additionally, it tackles the challenge of marine identification by featuring built-in AI that identifies species via photo upload or text description, effectively turning a diver's media chaos into a personal, filterable underwater Pokédex.
